Totara LMS has announced that it has received the U.S. Army Certificate of Networthiness, opening the way for the company’s learning management system software to be used with the U.S Army’s systems.

Totara LMS has released a press release announcing that it has received the U.S. Army Certificate of Networthiness – a certification required of all organisations who provide systems to support the U.S. Army which ensures that the specific risks associated with information systems are identified, measured and controlled to minimise security risks and impacts.

Totara will work with ASM Research, a leading solutions integrator, who have been selected to help develop Totara’s Solution Partner Network within the U.S. government as part of the integration process.

Speaking in the press release, Willem Boom, vice president, partner solutions, Totara Learning, said: “Our entire team is excited to be working with ASM Research to provide Totara LMS solutions to the federal government. Adding Totara to the Army’s Certification of Networthiness list is a great development that helps affirm the future of open source software.”
